We have provided quality entertainment for thousands of events over our twenty year history. We're very proud of our reputation and are 100 percent committed to making our clients happy. Encore is a set, rehearsed, nine piece group, featuring seven lead vocalists and a horn section. The musicians you see in our video and on live showcases will perform at your event—no last minute substitutes! We've only had one personnel change in the past ten years. This stability makes Encore the most flexible entertainment choice there is. The band members know each other very well, and are able to respond to what is happening on the dance floor more quickly than a DJ. Our music library contains thousands of songs—many are requests that we've learned for previous events. When you hire Encore, you will be working with a completely professional organization. Our goal is to have every detail taken care of BEFORE your big day. Our band leader/MC will be in contact with you many times, to plan special dances, toasts and requests. Sing! Q: Will someone be available to go over details and answer questions regarding my event?

A: Absolutely. Our bandleader/MC, Tony Defabritus will be happy to discuss any aspect of your party with you. Sometimes this can be accomplished in one phone call. If you need to contact us more frequently, feel free to do so. We want to be prepared, and we want you to be confident that every last detail is in place.

Q: When will the band members arrive?

A: We need to arrive between one and two hours before your start time, so we can set up our sound equipment and run through any last minute changes in your program. WE ARE NEVER LATE!

Q: Will the band be too loud?

A: No. We have a professional sound technician with us on every party. He makes sure the sound is at a comfortable level. You should be able to hold a normal conversation while the band is performing.

Q: What if I need a DJ, party motivators, give-aways, special lighting packages, etc.? Everybody dance!

A: One of the great advantages of dealing with Encore is that we have the resources to provide you with any extra touches you may need. Just contact your sales associate or band leader for packages and pricing.

Q: Can Encore provide music for my wedding ceremony and cocktail hour?

A: Of course. We've performed for thousands of ceremonies and cocktail hours, and are familiar with all of the traditional music required for every situation. Many of our clients request a two-piece keyboards/flute combination, adding just the right amount of elegance to any ceremony.

Q: Can I program all of the music for my party?

A: We love to have your input on special dances and requests. For instance, if you would like us to end the party with three latin songs, we'll be happy to do so. However, we would like to put our years of experience to work for you. Our goal is to keep the dance floor full at all times and we are very sensitive to what material will achieve that goal. If you allow us to use our good judgement, we can create an atmosphere of fun and excitement that your guests will talk about for years to come.

Q: Will the band take long breaks?

A: No. We provide continuous music for your affair. Usually, while your guests are eating, we will break down into smaller units and perform music that is suitable for dining. From Broadway standards to acoustic pop hits, we will create a quieter atmosphere so your guests can enjoy conversation with family and friends. ...and wave 'em like you just don't care.

Q: What if I prefer to have CDs or tapes played for dining?

A: No problem. Our state of the art sound system includes a CD and cassette player.

Q: What will the MC be like?

A: Tony Defabritus has been an in-demand MC for the past 15 years, and he will be responsible for making sure all entrances, blessings, toasts and special dances happen when they should. His easy-going "anything for the client" attitude will enable you to relax and enjoy yourself. Tony is also an expert party motivator. He knows when to go out on the dance floor and get everyone involved and also when to lay back and let the fun happen on it's own. We never pressure anyone to participate. We prefer to create an environment where your guests feel compelled to participate on their own. This way, everyone is comfortable and no one is embarassed.

Q: Am I required to provide meals for the band members?

A: We always appreciate it when our host provides food for the band, however, it is not required. We will give the same top-quality performance whether or not we are fed.
