Many couples consider the first dance to be the most important part of any wedding reception. All eyes will be upon you, as you have your first official dance as husband and wife. If you are a little shy, instruct your MC to invite the bridal party and guests to join in after the first thirty seconds or so. There is no rule that says you must be under the spotlight for the entire dance. If you are more outgoing, you may decide to dance alone through the whole song.
