Parent Dance Suggestion Guide
The parent dances are second in importance only to the bride and groom's first dance. Song selection for these dances seems to baffle many couples. Combing the universe for the one song that sums up the father/daughter or mother/son relationship is a daunting task indeed. But, why put all of that pressure on yourself? Contrary to popular belief, just about any song will work for your parent's special dance.

Is there a song that both you and your mom or dad enjoy? That's the only requirement for the parent dance. The subject matter of the lyrics aren't really important. It's YOUR wedding! Choose a song that makes you both happy.

Here are some traditional and non-traditional song choices:

Butterfly Kisses Jim Brickman
Home Sheryl Crow
If I Could Barbara Streisand
Just the Way You Are Billy Joel
Someone to Watch Over Me Barbara Streisand

Tangled Up Puppet Harry Chapin

Through the Years Kenny Rogers
The Times of Your Life Paul Anka
